I SPENT THE MAJORITY OF THE AFTERNOON working InDesign with my friend, Jenny.
I’ve had friends and acquaintances named Jenny in the past, but this Jenny’s very unique. She’s a real Jenny, not a Jenna or Jennifer or Genevieve. Not even a Jennie — she’s just a Jenny. I like that about her.
Jenny is an extremely admirable, genuine young woman. I met her last year during my Art History course. She sat next to me and struck up a conversation one day as I sat stiffly in my chair.
“I love your hair.”
It all went from there. Soon she was cutting it, and coloring it, and chopping off my “duck butt.” She turned me on to salon products and even gave me some pretty stellar bangs. Whenever Jenny needs help, she is always quick to compensate for it. During study sessions she comes equipped with Milky Way mochas and sweets, or monster cookies and chocolate marshmallow beverages. She never misses a beat — oh, and she’s always smiling.
Jenny is a really beautiful person, both outside and in. Not to mention, she has the most beautiful name in the world. : )
Thanks for today, for friendship, for genuineness — I had a wonderful afternoon.
love
